Take a Walk at McBeth Park to see the Towering Cottonwood Trees

A great trail in Winnipeg for the family to explore

Looking for a new trail to explore in Winnipeg with the family? Head up Main St north of Chief Peguis to McBeth Park to walk the Brooks Trail and explore the huge towering cottonwood trees along the river. You can park at McBeth House and walk the trail behind it.

There are a lot of side trails that wind through this park and totally worth going through them so you can find the tree that’s hollowed out.

On wet days I can see this one being muddy if you want to get close to the river or turn south on the trail once you get to the river as it’s not paved so where appropriate foot wear!

There was a side trail with great hilly parts that kids were riding with their BMX bikes.

This is not a long trail to walk but definitely one you can spend a lot of time at with your kids if you just let them explore everything.
