Walk the Manitoba Legislative Grounds at Night

By Carmen Kaethler, Macaroni Kid Winnipeg April 4, 2021

Here’s another idea for something free to do in Winnipeg with your family...

Head on over to the Manitoba Legislative building in the evening to walk around the grounds lit with over 300,000 LED lights as well as a moose and whale installation. These were set up to celebrate Manitoba 150 and are still going strong. The paths are nice, wide and well lit if you stay on the grounds. The kids really liked that they could run around in the field between the lights. When we went last weekend there was a few other families walking around but lots of couples also taking an evening stroll.
