Remembrance Day is just around the corner and whether you are able to attend a service or show your respect in other ways, we can show we remember by putting up poppies in our windows. There are a lot of crafts you can pick from but here are three easy options that my girls enjoyed doing, kept them occupied for awhile and didn't need a lot of supplies.

Stained Glass Tissue Paper Poppy
Supplies:
- Red Tissue paper cut into small squares
- Scissors
- Black Construction paper
- Wax Paper
- White Glue with a paint brush
Directions:
- Cut outline of poppy from construction paper and glue it onto wax paper
- Cut a circle for the center of poppy from construction paper and glue it onto wax paper
- Glue tissue paper squares inside of the outline
- Glue a second layer of wax paper on top of poppy to seal
- Let dry
- Trim excess.
Coffee Filter Poppies
Supplies:
- Coffee Filters
- Scissors
- Paint brushes
- Watercolour paints (red & black)
Directions:
- Paint the coffee filter red
- Once covered with red, add a black middle
- Let dry, optional trim the edge of filter to look more like petals

And when its all done, put them up in the window for everyone to see.
